I am Director of Research at the Army Audiology and Speech Center at Walter Reed Army Medical Center following nearly 30 years at the VA Healthcare System Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL where I served as the Chief of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Service.
I currently live in the Chinatown section of Washington, D.C. with my wife, an art historian, just a few blocks up from the National Mall. I work at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center where I am the director of research at the Army Audiology and Speech Center. I have five grown children two of whom live in Florida, one in Oregon, one in Georgia, and one in South Korea.
My teaching style? I prefer an interactive learning environment. Questions are welcome at any time during my lectures.
I am a life-long runner and enjoy independent movies. My audiology career has been characterized by integrating my research, teaching, and clinical care experiences.
