The Ida Institute Announces Defining Hearing Seminar
The Ida Institute is pleased to present its first education seminar entitled, Defining Hearing: Clinical Definitions of Hearing Loss Are Not Always Understood By Everyday People on 24-26 September in Skodsborg, Denmark. The purpose of this seminar is to develop a relationship centered care approach to defining hearing.

‘I believe that the Ida Institute and I have the same goal which is to improve outcomes,’ said Prof. Louise Hickson. Prof. Hickson recently started a project entitled ACE; Active Communication Education. The aim of ACE is for adults with hearing impairment to become more effective communicators by providing them with strategies to cope better in everyday life.
