Ida to Launch Phase 2 of website
Ida is pleased to announce that it will launch its new social networking pages this April.
The new pages will allow My Ida community members to build Facebook style pages. Members will be able to upload documents, presentations and will receive daily updates on their personal pages about news, information and discussions that are of interest.
In addition, the Ida Institute will launch a new Open Forum which will allow all My Ida members to join in discussions and debate online about important issues such as motivation with patients, using the Ida tools with patients/students and communicating with patient partners. This unique forum will be global in nature and has the potential to host more than 1000 community members.
For more specific discussions, it will be possible to create Group forums that are by invitation only. Regional forums, such as the UK discussion group, will allow members to freely discuss local issues in depth.

Communication is central to Ida Institute’s mission of fostering better understanding of the human dynamics associated with hearing loss.
Communicating through hearing journals and other publications that target professionals involved in hearing and health care enables us to extend the reach of key learnings and other knowledge generated through Ida Institute seminars and activities.
In addition, hearing care centers and educational organizations around the world have carried Ida Institute news releases on their websites, delivering pertinent information such as opportunities to participate in Institute seminars or to join the online Ida Institute community to grassroots professional and consumer audiences.
