Hello!, It was so nice to see everyone in New York! I have had some time to review my notes and ponder upon the conversations I had with many of you regarding how we can implement the Ida philosophy of learning and the tools into our curricula both within a specific course and across the curriculum. I collated the major themes of your responses to the work we did on the Box, detailing the benefits/cost of not changing the curriculum, and the potential benefits/costs of implementing the Ida philosophy into the curriculum. I wanted to rehash these as they will serve as a point of reference for developing an Ida Course. Please let me know if I missed a major theme, and I will add it here. It will be interesting to have a collective Box for us as we move forward.

Mirror in the Classroom: Through the Looking Glass

We recently concluded the seminar series, Enabling Communication Partnerships and are excited about the tools and knowledge that have been developed in collaboration with more than 70 global participants.

We are pleased to launch these tools at the Audiology Now! Congress in April. The tools will be available at our exhibit and will be presented by Ida faculty Profs. Joseph Montano, PhD, Chief of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at Cornell Medical Center and Jill Preminger, PhD, from University of Louisville, Kentucky; on April 17th. In May, these tools in PDF form will be downloadable from our website.
